1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ebo-ok platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform. When registering, you confirm this by ticking the age and terms checkbox — by doing so you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and meet this requirement.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you create using our platform. By publishing content on the Marketplace, you grant ebo-ok a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your content. You must not publish content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, is unlawful, or violates our community guidelines.
5. Payments & Refunds
Credits are sold by ebo-ok and are used to pay for AI generation on the platform. Unused credits from a top-up may be refunded as set out in our Refund Policy; credits that have been spent, and signup, bonus or promotional credits, are non-refundable. E-books on the Marketplace are sold by their sellers, not by ebo-ok: the seller is the merchant of record, your payment is processed by Stripe directly to the seller's account, and ebo-ok receives a commission on each sale at the rate in the current fee schedule. Refunds for book purchases are issued by the seller. If a book purchase is refunded in full, or reversed through a chargeback, access to that book is removed from your library. If a credit top-up is refunded or charged back, the credits it added are removed from your wallet; if they have already been spent, your wallet may be frozen until the balance is settled. 6. Intellectual Property
The ebo-ok platform, including its design, logos, and proprietary technology, is owned by ebo-ok. AI-generated content created through the platform is owned by the user who initiated the generation.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account yourself at any time from your account settings; deletion is permanent and anonymizes your personal data. Purchased books remain accessible to buyers even after a seller's account is deleted or terminated.
8. Limitation of Liability
ebo-ok is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
