Do I need credits before buying a book?
No. Credits pay for an author's AI tools. Buying an ebook is a separate payment at the book's listed price and does not use your AI credit balance.
Is the estimate a fixed price for a finished book?
No. It is an example based on the assumptions shown below the calculator. Your structure, section count, length, model choices, and any regenerated content can change the total. Review each task's cost before confirming.
Does regenerating text or a cover cost more credits?
Asking AI to generate again creates another task, charged at the selected model's rate. Review the draft and be specific about what you want to change before generating again.
How does credit usage differ between AI models?
Each model has separate rates for outlines, chapters, and sections. Compare the task prices above, then use the calculator to estimate your project. You can choose a cover model independently of the model writing your content.
